Kershena Thomas, the mother of four-star 2016 quarterback Jawon Pass, isn't going to lie that she would love her two sons to play college football together.
"I would love to see that at the next level," Thomas said.
Khane Pass, a 2015 three-star safety, will sign with the University of Louisville next month. The Cardinals are "definitely" in the mix for Jawon, according to his mother, but she wants him to make a decision that is "best for him."
"It all depends on what is the best fit for him," Thomas said. "Whatever is best for Jawon, I've told him to go with his heart. Of course, I would love to see them play together at the next level. But Jawon has to do what's best for him."
The 6-foot-5, 220-pound Pass is considered the No. 31 quarterback in the country in the '16 class and has narrowed his list to U of L, Alabama, Auburn, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. His mother said he has not set a date for a decision.
"He's still weighing his options right now," Thomas said. "He'll make a decision that's best for him at some point."
The younger Pass did make the trip to Louisville this weekend with Khane and his mother for the older Pass' official visit. It's the second trip to U of L for the family.
"The good thing is they play different positions, so it's all been kind of easy," Thomas said. "Khane loved his official visit and Jawon enjoyed his time at Louisville also. He had a chance to talk with the coaches and see the offense, he likes it."
Michael Carvell, a veteran reporter for the Atlanta newspaper, said Jawon Pass is the "most physically impressive QB I’ve seen out of Georgia since Cam Newton."
