"I'm 100 percent and have been," Jones said.
The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Jones finally made his official visit to the U of L campus - and his third visit overall - last weekend and left with a big smile on his face.
"I liked everything about it," Jones said. "I like the city and the coaches and the guys. It's just the best fit for me.
"I like what coach (Bobby) Petrino is doing there and I can't wait to get there."
Jones, who came on his visit with his parents, said he already knew what to expect but it was "still nice to have it feel good," while on campus.
"It's great to have made a decision and then get there and see everything and realize that you made the right decision," Jones said. "It's a great place."
The three-star prospect is ranked as the No. 87 offensive guard in the country and had picked U of L over Mississippi State.
Jones is expected to enroll at U of L the first week of June.
