Redwine set for his visit to Louisville

Maimi Killian cornerback Sheldrick Redwine committed to the University of Louisville football team earlier this month and now this weekend he will make a visit to U of L. Redwine visited Auburn last weekend and updates Scout.com on his status.

Miami Killian cornerback Sheldrick Redwine hasn't changed his mind at this point. He's still committed to the University of Louisville.

But after a visit to Auburn last weekend, Redwine told Scout.com that he was only "60 percent" committed to U of L and that Auburn was the other school involved.

On Wednesday, Redwine confirmed that U of L coach Bobby Petrino was in South Florida to meet with him - along with assistant coaches Lamar Thomas and Terrell Buckley - and the three-star prospect said the visit "went great."

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Redwine will now make his official visit to U of L this weekend and then said he has a "tough decision" to make about his future.

“It’s probably going to end up being a close race between (Auburn) and Louisville at the end,” he told Inside the Auburn Tigers.

Redwine is expected to make a visit to Texas next weekend.

On his Louisville visit, Redwine is expected to be hosted by his former high school teammate and current U of L freshman Trumaine Washington.
