But after a visit to Auburn last weekend, Redwine told Scout.com that he was only "60 percent" committed to U of L and that Auburn was the other school involved.
On Wednesday, Redwine confirmed that U of L coach Bobby Petrino was in South Florida to meet with him - along with assistant coaches Lamar Thomas and Terrell Buckley - and the three-star prospect said the visit "went great."
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Redwine will now make his official visit to U of L this weekend and then said he has a "tough decision" to make about his future.
“It’s probably going to end up being a close race between (Auburn) and Louisville at the end,” he told Inside the Auburn Tigers.
Redwine is expected to make a visit to Texas next weekend.
On his Louisville visit, Redwine is expected to be hosted by his former high school teammate and current U of L freshman Trumaine Washington.
