With an offer sheet that can be counted by the dozen, Davis, a one-time North Carolina pledge, recently told Scout.com that he was focused on a few that are recruiting him “the hardest,” listing Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Louisville and the Tarheels.
“I’m just looking for a school that feels like home,” Davis told Scout.com. “A great coaching staff, a coaching staff I can trust, and the school I can get a great degree. When football is over, it’s over, so you’ve got to have a back-up plan. And (lastly), early playing time.”
Davis, who claims no current leader and has no timetable set for his decision, visited Auburn last weekend and has canceled a trip to Georgia.
