Redwine has "good" visit with Louisville

Miami (Fla.) Killian cornerback, who committed to Louisville earlier this month, made his official visit over the weekend three-star cornerback Sheldrick Redwine extended his verbal commitment to the University of Louisville earlier this month and spent the weekend visiting the Cardinals program.

"It went real good," he told Cardinal Authority before boarding a plane to make his return home to Miami, Fla.

While on his visit, Redwine spent time visiting with the coaching staff and former high school teammate Trumaine Washington.

Redwine, who was visited last week by UofL head coach Bobby Petrino, along with assistants Lamar Thomas and Terrell Buckley, continues to draw interest from others. He visited Auburn a week ago and plans to trip to Texas next weekend.

“It’s probably going to end up being a close race between (Auburn) and Louisville at the end,” he told Inside the Auburn Tigers last week.

On Sunday morning, Redwine reports that his commitment with the Cardinals remains firm.
