The University of Louisville women's basketball program is not only getting the No. 1 recruiting class in the country next season. The Cardinals are getting a five-player class that will include three McDonald's All-Americans.
Asia Durr, considered the No. 1 player in the country by several services, Taja Cole and Samantha Fuehring were all selected to the McDonald's game, which will be played April 1 at the United Center in Chicago.
U of L joins Connecticut and Notre Dame as the only three schools to have a trio of signees in the 24-player game.
The Cardinals have now had seven players selected to the game all-time, including Myisha Hines-Allen and Mariya Moore, who are current freshmen.
Durr is a guard from Atlanta, Ga., averaging over 30 points a game, while Cole is a point guard from Richmond, Va., who averages 30 points a game. Fuehring is a 6-foot-3 forward from Wanaque, N.J.
