Seeking to avenge North Carolina's 72-71 come-from-behind victory in Chapel Hill, N.C., earlier this month, the 10th-ranked Louisville Cardinals overcame an 18-point second half deficit to defeat the No.13 Tarheels 78-68 in overtime on Saturday afternoon.
All-American forward Montrezl Harrell recorded his 20th career double-double with 22 points and 15 rebounds to fuel the Cardinals comeback, while sophomore guard Terry Rozier totaled his first career double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Senior guard Chris Jones added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists.
Louisville, which trailed by 11 in rebounds at the half, ended up winning the battle of the boards 46-44.
Louisville improves to 18-3 overall, 6-2 in ACC play. The Cardinals will have a day off before flying to Miami for a Tuesday night contest against the Hurricanes.
