11 former Cards headed to the NFL Combine

The NFL released the roster of 323 players invited to the NFL Combine on Friday and the University of Louisville had the second most prospects attending. There will be 11 former U of L players at the combine on Feb. 17-23 in Indianapolis.

The University of Louisville will be well represented in Indianapolis later this month at the NFL Combine. The event will be held at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Cardinals will have 11 former players participating in the combine, which will be televised on the NFL Network.

There will be five former U of L defensive players and six ex-offensive standouts from the Cardinals team that lost to Georgia in the Belk Bowl.

Wide receiver DeVante Parker, expected to be a first-round pick, will be joined by running backs Michael Dyer and Dominique Brown and tight end Gerald Christian.

Two ex-U of L offensive linemen - Jamon Brown and John Miller - are expected to be drafted and also are participating in the combine.

Linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin has moved up the draft boards in recent weeks and will be there, along with defensive lineman B.J. Dubose.

Defensive backs Charles Gaines, James Sample and Gerod Holliman are also at the combine.
