Strong Start for Louisville Baseball

Cardinal Authority Publicher Jody Demling and Senior Writer Michael McCammon discuss the start of the 2015 season for the Louisville baseball squad

The No.7 University of Louisville baseball team jumped off to a great start to the 2015 season, finishing 2-1 during the opening weekend. Through the three games the Cardinals proved to be a team with the talent and depth, both on the mound and at the plate.

Cardinal Authority's Jody Demling and Michael McCammon give their take on the Cardinal Nine following the first weekend of action.

Schedule Change

The Cardinals home-opener continues to be delayed due to inclement weather, as this weekend's series against Milwaukee has been cancelled. Not wanting to lose the valuable early season game experience, U of L head coach Dan McDonnell was able to find a new series for the weekend.

Louisville has agreed to a three-game series against Arkansas State at Perfect Game Park South in Emerson, Ga., about 40 minutes north of Atlanta. The Cardinals and Red Wolves will open on Friday at noon ET and will conclude the weekend with a doubleheader on Saturday at noon.
