Louisville football send out more offers

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino and have staff are working on the future in recruiting, offering several prospects a scholarship on Wednesday. Here's a look at a couple of prospects who received the good word from the Cardinals.

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino and have staff are working on the future in recruiting and they offered a few prospects on Wednesday.

Cardinal Authority has the latest on a pair of those prospects.

Michael Boykin is a rising star from Carrollton, Ga., and earned an offer from the Cardinals and Georgia Southern.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pound Boykin also has interest from Georgia, Auburn, LSU, South Carolina and Mississippi among others. He's a defensive end.

U of L also offered a scholarship to Oklahoma State commitment Justice Hill. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Hill is a three-star running back from Tulsa, Okla., Booker T. Washington High School. His only other offer is from Oklahoma State.

Hill rushed for 1,426 yards and 22 touchdowns this past season. He averaged 6.5 yards per carry and also had seven games where he rushed for over 100 yards.
