The start of spring practice for the University of Louisville is just weeks away.
Cardinals head coach Bobby Petrino will begin prepping his team for the 2015 season on Tuesday, March 24 and will conduct four practices per week until the annual spring game on Friday, April 17.
With just four starters returning on each side of the ball, priority one will be to fill the many vacant spots created by graduation and early departures for the NFL. Toss in the leftover question from 2014 – who will be the Cardinals starting quarterback – and the competition during the weeks of spring drills should be intense.
The team will scrimmage at least three times prior to the spring game, with the first set for Saturday, March 28. Additional scrimmages are slated for Saturday, April 4, and Friday, April 10.
Times for each practice have yet to be announced. The spring game is scheduled for 7:00p.m.
Cardinal Authority will be present at each session and will provide full reports, along with player and coach features, throughout spring practice.
