Louisville Pro Day a top stop for NFL Scouts

When the University of Louisville hosts its annual Pro Day next week, the entire NFL will be watching as all 32 franchises are expected to be in attendance

The University of Louisville is once again proving to be a popular destination for NFL scouts. When the Cardinals host their annual Pro Day on Wednesday, March 11, all 32 NFL franchises are expected to be in attendance.

NOTE: Pro Day is not open to the public.

Highlighted by wide receiver DeVante Parker, 11 former Cardinals participated in the NFL Combine last month in Indianapolis and further improved their stock for the upcoming draft.

An official participant list remains a work in progress for the program, but due to the high interest throughout the NFL, it is expected that most of the group that participated in the combine, along with additional graduating seniors will display their skills in front of the scouts next week.

Parker, who's 33 career touchdowns tops the school's record book, is projected as a first round selection in all major projections, while Lorenzo Mauldin, John Miller and Gerod Holliman are targeted as selections in the top three rounds. Charles Gaines, Dominique Brown, James Sample, Gerald Christian, Michael Dyer, Jamon Brown and B.J. Dubose are also projected as likely draft selections. Terell Floyd, Andrew Johnson, Matt Milton, Deiontrez Mount, Eli Rogers and Jake Smith are also working to elevate themselves into the draft.

Louisville's 2014 Pro Day hosted 29 NFL teams, which led to four Cardinals being selected in the draft. Three - Teddy Bridgewater (Vikings), Calvin Pryor (Jets) and Marcus Smith (Eagles) - were first round selections in the 2014 draft, while Preston Brown (Bills) was a third round choice.

Cardinal Authority will be on-hand for Louisville's Pro Day and will provide complete coverage.
