U of L signee Durr a first-team All-American

University of Louisville women's signee Asis Durr has been tabbed a first-team All-American by the Naismith Girls' All-American Team on Tuesday. Durr is considered the No. 1 player in the country and one of five players signed to play at U of L.

The postseason accolades keep adding up for Asia Durr.

Durr, a University of Louisville signee considered the No. 1 overall player nationally in the Class of 2015, has been named a first-team Naismith Girls' All-American. The team honors five players on the first team from across the country.

U of L signee Taja Cole was named honorable mention by the Naismith folks.

Durr finished her senior campaign at St. Piux X High in Atlanta, recently after averaging 33.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 1.5 steals a game. For her career, Durr finished with 2,764 points on 51 percent shooting, 698 rebounds, 249 assists, and 260 steals.

Durr will play in the McDonald's All-American game and the Jordan Brand Classic next month. She was also named to several other All-American teams and in late February was named one of 10 WBCA high school All-Americans.

Durr will arrive at U of L later this spring.
