The University of Louisville football team has a bunch of quarterbacks already on the roster but that didn't stop Bobby Petrino from hosting another stellar signal caller.
The Cardinals hosted Columbia, Tenn., Spring Hill High School junior quarterback Tylin Oden during last weekend's Junior Day.
The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Oden said he spent time with Petrino and U of L offensive coordinator talking about the U of L 'pistol' offense that he was told would be "a great fit" for his skill set. He's a top dual-threat quarterback in the South.
"It was great," Oden said. "I was super impressed."
Oden said besides U of L he has offers from Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and Kentucky and serious interest from a bunch of others.
Oden could be a player who makes a decision and enrolls early in January of 2016. As a junior, he totaled 1,947 yards of offense with 28 touchdowns.
