The University of Louisville basketball team will leave tomorrow for Seattle and a opening-round NCAA Tournament game on Friday against UC-Irvine.
But before the Cardinals left, U of L coach Rick Pitino spent time with the local media on Tuesday talking about a wide-range of topics.
Pitino was loose and said he feels "really good" about how his team has been playing. He said the first round games of any NCAA Tournament are the toughest.
"Just get me past the first round and then I'll be OK," Pitino said.
Louisville has never played UC-Irvine but the Cardinals are 10-0 against teams from the Big West Conference. U of L is 16-9 overall as a No. 4 seed.
