Georgia OLB gives Louisville high marks

Peyton Moore, a linebacker from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Ga., made a recent visit to the University of Louisville football program. He’s still hoping for an offer and updates Cardinal Authority on his recruiting.

Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek High School linebacker Peyton Moore made the trek to the University of Louisville for Junior Day several weeks ago.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Moore, who has been in contact with the U of L staff for more than a month, left the school “very impressed.

”The place is just beautiful,” Moore said. “I really had a great time.”

Moore, who has also visited Kennesaw State and Charlotte, is hearing from Georgia, Illinois, Wake Forest, Ball State, Southern Mississippi and several others.

But he’s still waiting on that first offer.

”(The Louisville coaches) told me to keep in touch and they told me they wanted to come and see me in spring ball,” he said.

Moore had a solid junior season and it a bit under the radar but said he’s been getting more calls in recent weeks.

”It’s going great for me,” he said.

Moore is being recruited by U of L defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.
