Hoschton, Ga., Mill Creek High School offensive lineman Robbie Bell figured he would like his trip to the University of Louisville.
The 6-foot-5, 285-pound Bell came to U of L for Junior Day. He left even more impressed with the program than he figured.
Bell said the Cardinals had moved to the top of his list after extending him a scholarship offer while he was on the visit.
”I loved it,” Bell said. “I really loved the staff, they were so personable, and the facilities were great. It was just a great place.”
Bell now has two offers, including one from Buffalo also and is hearing from a ton of schools, including Charlotte, Duke, Furman, Illinois, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Western Carolina, Missouri and several others.<.p>
Bell said his recruitment was “going great.”
On his visit to U of L, Bell had time to spend with U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis and chatted with head coach Bobby Petrino.
”I really liked the offensive line coach,” he said. “He told me they run the same blocking scheme as my school does, so it was a great meeting.”
