Louisville will get a visit from Tyus Battle

Gladstone (N.J.) Gill St. Bernard standout Tyus Battle recently narrowed his and on Monday Scout.com national analyst Evan Daniels reported a couple of upcoming visits. Battle will make a visit to Duke on April 17 and then Louisville on April 19. Cardinal Authority has the latest on Battle and his recruitment as it pertains to the Cardinals.

Tyus Battle, one of the premier perimeter players in the Class of 2016, will be on the University of Louisville's campus next month for a visit.

Scout.com national analyst Evan Daniels report that Battle will visit Duke on April 17 and then head to Louisville on April 19 for a visit.

Battle had recently narrowed his list to seven schools: Connecticut, Duke, Louisville, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State and Syracuse. Daniels also reported that Kentucky has been put back on the list, making his final list a total of eight.

Battle, a five-star prospect, is currently regarded as the No. 11 overall recruit and the No. 4 small forward in the 2016 class.

A standout at Gladstone (N.J.) Gill St. Bernard Prep, Battle has been one of the top two targets - along with Maverick Rowan - for the U of L staff and coach Rick Pitino for a while. He's being recruited by U of L assistant coach Kenny Johnson.
