Bell County OL visits Louisville again

The University of Louisville football team hosted several prospects om Wednesday during spring football practice, including one of the top players from Eastern Kentucky. Bell County offensive lineman Nathan Murray made his second visit to U of L.

Bell County High School offensive lineman Nathan Murray already has two scholarship offers, earning them from Ball State and Austin Peay.

But the 6-foot-7, 310-pound Murray is hoping for one from the University of Louisville. He made his second visit to the U of L campus on Wednesday for spring practice.

"I had a really good trip, again," Murray said. "I really like it at Louisville, the campus and the coaches and the facilities. It was a lot of fun."

Murray, who has also visited Western Kentucky, Purdue and Florida State, said he's from Big Blue Country and his high school colors are even blue and white.

But Murray said, "don't let the Blue and White fool you. I like Louisville a lot."

Murray also attended U of L's Junior Day earlier this month and said he will be back for the April 17 Spring game and also a camp this summer.

"I had a chance to talk to coach (Klenakis)," Murray said of the offensive line coach. "I asked him if they needed another offensive lineman and he said they can always use a big body lineman like me. I really liked the chance to talk to him.

"It was fun to watch them practice, it was intense and fast."
