Louisville offers RB from Cardinal Gibbons

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Cardinal Gibbons running back Deon McIntosh is up to more than a dozen scholarship offers after landing one from the University of Louisville on Monday. Here's the latest on the McIntosh recruitment.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Cardinal Gibbons running back Deon McIntosh, whose brother plays at Miami, has more than a dozen scholarship offers.

The latest for the 5-foot-11, 175-pound McIntosh came on Monday afternoon when he landed an offer from the University of Louisville.

McIntosh has offers from Miami, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Cincinnati, Duke, West Virginia, North Carolina, Maryland and Michigan State among others. He also likes Ohio State and Florida State but doesn't have offers from those two schools.

As a junior, McIntosh ran for 845 yards and 12 touchdowns and also had 40 catches for 365 yards and two more TDs. He had 1,025 yards and nine TDs rushing as a sophomore.

His brother, Richard, signed with Miami in February and will be a freshman in the fall in the Hurricanes program.
