The 6-foot-3, 285-pound offensive lineman from the College of the Canyons is committed to Fresno State but re-opened his recruitment when the Cardinals jumped into the mix. He said some other schools, including Vanderbilt, have called and he will look at his options.
"If I had to say I was leaning a certain way right now it would probably be Louisville," he said. "But that may or may not change on Monday.
DellaRipa said he was going to chat with his coaches today about the new interest and see if there was any other school he wanted to look at.
"The visit to Louisville was really nice," he said.
DellaRipa committed to Fresno State as a blueshirt, so he isn't getting a scholarship until he enrolls at that school in June. It leaves him open to be recruited by others.
DellaRipa, a qualifier out of high school, can leave immediately and he will have four-years to play three starting this fall.
Louisville has a spot for DellaRipa on the roster this fall and is in need of some added depth on the offensive line.
