Huntington, W. Va., High School offensive lineman Billy Ross is early in the recruiting process. But the Class of 2017 prospect has already found one place that he really likes.
The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Ross made a visit to the University of Louisville last weekend for Junior Day and said he "loved every minute" of his trip to the U of L campus.
"I went to a camp at Virginia Tech, but that was my first opportunity (for a Junior Day) like that," Ross said. "They did everything right.
"I have been talking to them for a few weeks and I really enjoyed the trip. It was a great place."
Ross said besides Virginia Tech and Charlotte he hasn't had a lot of interest but will attend some camps this summer.
"I know I'm coming back to Louisville for camp," he said. "The coaches told me to keep working and come back to try and show them what I can do. So, I want to try and do that."
Ross has played right tackle at Huntington and appears to be athletic enough to play that position at the next level.
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on Ross.
