Louisville offers 4-star '16 shooting guard

After watching him last weekend during the Under Armour event last weekend in New Orleans, the University of Louisville extended an offer to DeMatha Catholic guard Markelle Fultz. Here's more on the offer sent out to the 6-foot-3 shooting guard.

Two days after offering his high school team D.J. Harvey, the University of Louisville basketball program extended an offer to Hyatsville, Md., DeMatha Catholic combo guard Markelle Fultz.

The 6-foot-3 Fultz, who is a member of the Class of 2016, has also been offered by Arizona, DePaul, Florida State, Kansas, Virginia, Georgetown, Maryland, Texas, West Virgina, Xavier and more than a dozen other schools.

Fultz was named Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Player of the Year after averaging 16.5 points and lead the top-ranked Stags on the season.

In the Scout.com top 100 for the Class of '16, Fultz is ranked as the No. 35 player and checks in as the No. 6 shooting guard.

Harvey is a wing from the Class of 2017. U of L offered him on Monday.
