The visitor list for the University of Louisville spring game on Friday night continues to get longer and more impressive. Included in the group of more than 50 recruits are a number that currently hold a scholarship offer from the Cardinals coaching staff.
Here's a look at the 2016 recruits that have a U of L offer:
QB Tylin Oden
The 6-foot-5, 190-pound dual-threat quarterback from Columbia, Tenn., is making a return trip to Louisville. The three-star prospect attended U of L's Junior Day in March, saying that he was "super impressed" following that initial visit. Oden also holds scholarship offers from Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
WR Velus Jones
The 6-foot, 180-pound prospect from Saraland, Ala., has collected more than a dozen offers with Louisville, Florida, Southern Miss, Tulsa and UCLA among them.
CB J.J. Givens
A three-star prospect from Mechanicsville (Va.) Atlee, Givens recorded 32 solo tackles, picked off four passes and broke up 11 more in 2014. In addition to the Cardinals, his offer list also includes Arizona State, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia and others.
WR Chris Taylor-Yamanoha
Making the trip from Rohnert Park, Calif., is this three-star receiver. Ranked among the nation's top 100 receivers, Taylor-Yamanoha also holds offers from a number of programs on the west coast.
ATH Malik Staples (pictured)
The 6-foot, 210-pound three-star prospect picked up an offer from Louisville during a Junior Day visit in March. A teammate of U of L commit Baylen Buchanan, Staples has a growing list of scholarship offers, including four from ACC programs.
OL Robbie Bell
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound offensive tackle also holds scholarship offers from Buffalo, Colorado State and Georgia State.
RB Kennedy McKoy
The three-star running back rushed for 2,061 yards and 24 touchdowns as a junior. The Lexington (N.C.) North Davidson, who ranks among the nation's top 100 backs, also has scholarship offers from Boston College, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
CB Davonte Robinson
One of the in-state prospects to hold a Louisville offer, the Lexington Henry Clay prospect is ranked as the No. 4 corner in the Midwest and a three-star recruit. Currently committed to Kentucky, Robinson, who also plays running back, added offers from both the Cardinals and Notre Dame in recent days.
DE Rodney Croom
The Cincinnati (Oh.) Winton Woods defensive end holds seven scholarship offers, including Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville and Pittsburgh.
