On Monday, U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis made the trip to see Pridgeon and remind him the Cardinals are still after his signature.
"He stopped by and it was nice," Pridgeon said.
The 6-foot-8, 295-pound Pridgeon has more than a dozen scholarship offers including, U of L, Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Arizona State and Texas Tech.
Pridgeon, who said he was going to take the recruiting process at a slow pace, said Klenakis told him exactly what they needed at U of L.
"He said they're losing the tackles and they need a guy that can come in and dominate," Pridgeon said. "They think I'm that guy."
Pridgeon has stayed in the northeast for football so far. He played his high school football in New York, and then remained in the state for junior college ball as well but said location "isn't a factor" when he picks a college.
