Roseville, Calif., High School tight end Jimmy Jaggers has been on a few campus unofficial visits, including UCLA, Oregon State and Arizona State.

But he recently landed his first scholarship offer.

Jaggers, whose high school coach has several connections to the University of Louisville staff, picked up an offer from the Cardinals. He has since added one from Northwestern.

The 6-foot-4, 235-pound Jaggers is expected to make visits to Michigan, U of L, Miami, Notre Dame and Northwestern at some point this spring or summer.

Jaggers played the final six games of his sophomore season with two broken bones in his foot. He is also a standout on the Roseville basketball team.

Roseville football coach Larry Cunha played for Bobb Petrino at Carroll College and was a teammate there of U of L offensive line coach Chris Klenakis.
