It's been a nice spring for Paintsville High School junior Kash Daniel and perhaps an even better 24-hour period for the tight end/linebacker prospect.

Daniel now has six scholarship offers after landing one from Kentucky on Monday night and Louisville on Tuesday morning. He's one of the top 2016 in-state prospects.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound Daniel also has offers from Troy, Ball State, Ohio U., and Marshall. He made the to U of L for the school's recent spring game.

Daniel said after the visit that he was able to speak with U of L coach Bobby Petrino for about 10 minutes about his future.
