The University of Louisville football staff has been recruiting the state of Alabama at a fast pace, offering many of the state's top prospects.

Add another one to the list.

U of L visited and offered Madison, Ala., Academy 2017 offensive lineman Austin Troxell, who is considered one of the elite linemen nationally in his class.

The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Troxell also has offers from Alabama, Auburn and Ole Miss along with a handful of other top teams nationally.

Troxell is the teammate of 2015 Mr. Football Kerryon Johnson, who signed with Auburn. He helped Madison to a third consecutive Class 3-A state championship in December.

The Cardinals also offered another prospect from Madison, Ala., when James Clemens defensive end LaBryan Ray reported an offer. He's a 6-foot-5, 255-pound '16 prospect.
