DeVante Parker is getting paid now for his talents.
According to multiple reports from South Florida, the former University of Louisville All-American wide receiver has signed a four-year contract with the Miami Dolphins worth $10.9 million with a signing bonus of more than $6 million.
Parker was the 14th pick of the first round in last week's NFL Draft.
The former Ballard High School star has a shot to be the No. 1 receiver in Miami for quarterback Ryan Tannehill. He will battle Kenny Stills, Greg Jennings, Jarvis Landry and Rishard Matthews for playing time.
Despite missing the first seven games of his senior season while recovering from a foot injury, Parker still managed to lead the Cardinals in receiving yards and become a second team All-ACC selection.
For his career, Parker caught 156 passes (seventh all-time) for 2,775 yards (fourth all-time) and tied a school with 33 touchdown receptions. He totaled 10 100-yard receiving games, which is tied for the third-most in school history. He stands seventh all-time in receptions and fourth in career receiving yards and yards per reception.
