Louisville offers Florida State commit

The University of Louisville football staff has been working hard on Monday in the Sunshine State, offering a bunch of prospects. The Cardinals' staff offered Florida State commitment Emmett Rice, a three-star linebacker from Miami Norland, on Monday night.

One of the top defensive players on the University of Louisville roster next season - linebacker Keith Brown - is a product of Miami Norland High School.

The Cardinals' are trying to tap Norland High again.

On Monday night, the U of L staff extended an offer to three-star Norland linebacker Emmett Rice, who has been committed to Florida State since February.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Rice ranks as the No. 3 linebacker prospect in the Sunshine State and No. 41 overall at the position nationally.

Rice has landed offers from U of L, Alabama, Miami and Florida among others since making his commitment to the Seminoles.
