'17 QB takes a peek at Louisville

Snellville, Ga., Brookwood dual threat quarterback Isaiah Grim has been making the rounds in recent months, including a stop at Louisville. Grim talks about the visit and his recruitment, which is starting to pick up.

Snellville, Ga., Brookwood quarterback Isaiah Grim still has two more seasons of high school football. But he's already making the college rounds.

And one place he stopped was the University of Louisville.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound dual-threat QB was at U of L's Junior Day last month and said he now has the Cardinals "definitely in my top 10" after the visit.

"That visit was great," said Grim, who made the trip with his father. "The coaches were awesome and the whole campus was just great. I liked them a lot."

Grim has also been to Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt and several other places this spring as he said his recruitment is "really picking up."

While Grim said he's "being patient," he noted there are a few schools, including U of L, Vandy and Georgia Tech that he thinks are "really close" to making him an offer.

Grim also lists Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Illinois, North Carolina State, Florida and several others as schools showing him interest.

He also runs track for Brookwood.
