Columbia (Tenn.) Spring Hill quarterback Tylin Oden has collected a number of scholarship offers and has reached a point where he's ready to make his future college plans.
Potentially an early enrollee, the 6-foot-5, 190-pound three-star prospect announced earlier this week that he'd announced his college choice on Memorial Day, May 25.
With scholarship offers from in-state programs Middle Tennessee State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, along with others that include Georgia Tech, Kentucky and Western Kentucky, Oden confirmed that's he's trimmed his list to just three.
"Louisville, West Virginia and Mississippi State," he told Cardinal Authority.
Oden, believed to be a Louisville lean, visited the Cardinals program twice this spring. He attended the team's Junior Day in March and returned in April for the annual Red-White spring game.
"I had a great time," he said. "It was a lot of fun. I think it gave me a good look at their offense, so it was a great trip."
As a junior, he totaled 1,947 yards of offense with 28 touchdowns. He threw for more than 1,000 yards and rushed for just under 1,000 yards and led Spring Hill to the playoffs for the first time since 2009. He also had just three interceptions.
