U of L getting visit from son of ex-UK player

Ashland Blazer running back Quinton Baker, the son of former Kentucky running back Al Baker, will make a visit to Louisville in June. Baker confirms he will be at U of L for a camp.

The University of Louisville football team will host a bunch of prospects over the next couple of months for camps and visits.

And one of those confirmed is the son of a former Kentucky running back.

Ashland Blazer running back Quinton Baker told Cardinal Authority that he will be in Louisville for a camp on June 6. He doesn't have an offer from U of L at this point.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound Baker, who will also visit Mississippi State on June 2, had previously been committed to Kentucky. He backed off that commitment in late November.

Baker has offers from Marshall, Ball State, Troy and Eastern Kentucky.

In 11 games last year Baker rushed for 1719 yards and 20 touchdowns. Last weekend he posted a personal best in the 100 meters with a 10.75.
