Top OL among Louisville offers on Monday

The University of Louisville football staff was at it again Monday, extending offers to some top prospects in the state of Florida and elsewhere. Here's a quick look at some of the offers, including top center prospect Brett Heggie.

The University of Louisville football staff continued to extend scholarship offers to some of the top prospects on their recruiting board on Monday.

Here's a few prospects the Cardinals' offers:

Mount Dora, Fla., center Brett Heggie has landed more than 15 offers, including one this weekend from Miami and one on Monday from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-4, 284-pound Heggie is ranked as the No. 3 center prospect in the state of Florida and the No. 8 overall center in the country.

He also has offers from Cincinnati, South Carolina, Central Florida and others.

Lake Minneola, Fla., High School safety Deon Edwards added a U of L offer to a list that includes Missouri, Indiana, South Florida, N.C. State, Western Kentucky and South Carolina.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Edwards is a three-star prospect and is expected to see his scholarship number rise.

Cincinnati LaSalle sophomore Thayer Munford is a 6-foot-7, 325-pound youngster who is impressing scouts at an early age.

He adds a U of L offer to ones from Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio and others.

Pembroke Pines, Fla., Somerset Academy 2017 wide receiver Daewood Davis now has double-digit offers after landing one from the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Davis also has offers from Miami, N.C. State, Nebraska, Syracuse, Utah and others.

Davis had 4.3 speed in the 40-yard dash.
