Fitzpatrick visiting Louisville

Farmington, Mich., four-star wide receiver Desmond Fitzpatrick has been committed to the University of Louisville since October and is still being courted by hometown Michigan but will make a visit to U of L this weekend for the Cardinals' camp.

Desmond Fitzpatrick, the highest ranked current commitment for the University of Louisville in the Class of 2016, will be on campus this weekend with the Cardinals' coaching staff.

The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Fitzpatrick is a wide receiver from Farmington, Mich., High School and is a four-star prospect and ranked No. 272 among prospects nationally in the '16 class.

Fitzpatrick recently picked up an offer from hometown Michigan and was considered a prospect who could flip to the Wolverines, but he told Scout.com that he wanted to stay committed to the Cardinals.

U of L will try to hang on with Terrell Buckley doing the recruiting for the Cardinals.

The visit for Saturday's Senior-Only Camp at U of L will be the third time Fitzpatrick has been on campus. He committed to the Cardinals in late October.
