In-state star talking offer with Louisville

Princeton, Ky., Caldwell County High School safety Dee Cain already has six offers but after camping at the University of Louisville on Saturday there's another opportunity for the in-state star. Check out what he said the Louisville coaches told him after watching him workout at the Cardinals' camp.

After a strong showing at the University of Louisville's football camp on Saturday, Princeton, Ky., Caldwell County High School safety Dee Cain said he has another opportunity in front of him.

"I have seven offers now," Cain said. "Louisville did but they have a couple of people with offers on time limits. So they told me to wait. I just have to wait and see."

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Cain said he had some "great feedback," from the coaches at the U of L camp.

Cain was a standout in 7-on-7 and several other drills at the Cardinals' camp. He said he spoke to several coaches, including U of L defensive coordinator Todd Grantham.

"They liked a guy at 6-2, 220 running with the safeties," Cain said. "Coach Grantham said he sees me at the money linebacker (spot in the U of L defensive scheme)."

Cain has offers from Cincinnati, Georgia State, Ohio U., Ball State, Indiana State and Murray State.
