Ulmer has 'great experience' at U of L

Richmond, Ky., Madison Central High School offensive line prospect Will Ulmer has been to the University of Louisville several times. He returned last Saturday for the Cardinals' first camp of the summer. The top in-state prospect from the Class of 2016 recaps the camp.

Madison Central High School offensive lineman Will Ulmer has been to the University of Louisville campus several times, including a recent visit for the Cardinals' Spring Game.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Ulmer was back on campus last Saturday.

Ulmer camped with the U of L football staff and was one of the offensive linemen who stuck out during the morning session of the camp. He told Cardinal Authority that the day went "just great."

"It was a great experience and I had a really good time," Ulmer said. "I really enjoyed working with (offensive line) coach (Chris Klenakis). He's a really good guy, I like him."

Ulmer has offers already from Marshall, Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Toledo and Ohio U., and is hoping to add more. He will also camp this summer at Western Kentucky, Kentucky, Florida and Ohio State.

And he plans on keeping in touch with the U of L staff.

"After camp Coach K told me he I had a great day and that he was impressed with me," Ulmer said. "He told me that he would be in Richmond this fall to see me."
