Saginaw, Mich., Arthur Hill forward Brian Bowen might be one of the most versatile players in the Class of 2017.
The 6-foot-7 Bowen is ranked as the No. 7 small forward in the country but recently during the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp it was the point guard position he played some.
"A lot of coaches like that versatility for my height," Bowen said. "They like how I shoot the ball also."
With Bowen, there's plenty to like. He's considered the No. 43 player in the Class of 2017.
"I want to go to a school that actually wants me more than even I want to go there," he said. "I have a lot of schools calling now. It's pretty hectic. (On June 15) I had 25 new calls."
Louisville first called Bowen back when Wyking Jones was still on staff and he said the Cardinals' have recently checked in with his coach and with his father. He expects the Cardinals to watch him in July with The Family AAU team.
Bowen said Michigan, Michigan State and N.C. State are showing him a lot of interest.
He's friends with current U of L sophomore Jaylen Johnson, who is from Ypsilanti, Mich., and Bowen said he knows that Johnson "really likes it" at Louisville.
"I know Jaylen; we are cool," Bowen said. "He's going to be a good one for them."
