Bruce Brown has seen the interest in his recruitment "really pick up" in recent weeks.
The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Brown is adding schools each week. One school showing more interest of the University of Louisville, which has offered and has been on his radar for a while now.
"Coach (Kenny) Johnson has been in contact a lot with me," Brown said. "He's told me what he wants me to be at Louisville and what I like is that he told me every other kid he was recruiting. I liked that a lot.
"He's a good guy and Louisville is a great program; one of the elite ones."
Brown, who attends Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vt., plays AAU ball for BABC and coach Leo Papile, who is a long time friend of U of L coach Rick Pitino. Brown is ranked as the No. 43 player in the country by Scout.com.
He said he expects Louisville to track him this summer.
"They really fit the way I play," he said. "I like steals, I like to get out on the break, they're guards score a lot, they play good defense and every player on the roster gets better at Louisville."
When asked what schools were showing him the most interest, Brown mentioned Indiana, Michigan, Texas, Louisville, Boston College and said some of his new interest if from Arizona, North Carolina and St. John's.
"More schools are calling all the time," he said. "It's fun but it can get hectic. I don't know when I will cut my list of have any time table. My mom lives in Georgia and I need to sit down with her."
