Two more University of Louisville football players have landed on preseason watch lists.
Wide receiver James Quick was named to the Paul Hornung Award watch list on Monday and on Tuesday morning he was joined by running back Brandon Radcliff and defensive end Sheldon Rankins were honored.
Radcliff has been named to the Maxwell Award Watch List for college football player of the year, while Rankins was added to the Bednarik Award Watch List, an award that goes to the best defensive player in the country.
As a sophomore, Radcliff led the Cardinals in rushing with 733 yards and 12 touchdowns. He started the season as the third-string back but ended up garnering three 100-yard games and was the starter for the last part of the season.
Rankins led the team with eight sacks and 13.5 tackles for a loss and also had two interceptions. He was named a third-team All-ACC performer last season.
More watch lists will be announced later this week.
