A new target for Louisville?

After three weeks of sensational play with his Pro Skills team, Irving, Tx., shooting guard Andrew Jones has become a hot commodity on the AAU scene with a number of new schools in the mix. One of the schools now showing interest of the University of Louisville.

The University of Louisville basketball staff has been on the road for three weeks recruiting, focusing on adding one or two guards to the Class of 2016. And now there's a new name to watch for fans.

Irving, Tx., MacArthur shooting guard Andrew Jones has become one of the fastest rising prospects in the '16 class after turning in a sensational three weeks of play with Pro Skills.

The Cardinals had three coaches watch Jones in Las Vegas this weekend and are expected to extend him a scholarship offer. He already has over 15 offers from schools.

The 6-foot-4 Jones, who didn't play in the spring after a knee injury last winter, has been rising since a standout performance in the final two days of the Nike Peach Jam earlier this month.

Arizona, Texas, Virginia and Virginia Tech all offered last week and he also holds offers from Texas A&M, Oklahoma, TCU and others./p>

Jones is expected to take a visit to SMU but said no other visits have been set up. He's expected to narrow his list of schools soon after the evaluation period ends this evening/
