Fall Camp: Epps, Rankins talk progress

The Cardinals completed the second day of fall camp early Friday evening. Offensive lineman Aaron Epps and defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins discussed the team's progress following the two hour session.

The second day of fall camp is complete for the Louisville Cardinals, who continued with a pair of split sessions on Friday.

The newcomers group practiced in the morning, with the veterans working in the late afternoon, finishing near 7:00 p.m. After rain pushed the team inside the Trager Center on day one, it was perfect weather on Friday and the team hit the outdoor practice fields for the first time.

Following the veterans two-hour session, offensive lineman Aaron Epps and defensive lineman Sheldon Rankins spent a few minutes discussing the team's progress with the media.

The team will hold its annual Media Day on Saturday morning before returning to practice later that day. Saturday's practice marks the first of four that will be open to the public. On Saturday and Sunday, the veterans will work out first at 2:30 p.m., while the newcomers hit the field at 6:30 p.m. The final two practices open to the public are on Monday and Tuesday at 4:20 p.m.
