Hawaiian OL will be visiting Louisville

Three-star Hawaiian offensive lineman Sean Auwae has just one official visit planned and it's to the University of Louisville next month. Cardinal Authority checks in on the No. 9 ranked center prospect in the Class of 2016.

Sean Auwae narrowed his list to 10 schools in June. Now, the 6-foot-3, 290-pound three-star prospect is starting to set up his official visits for the fall and the University of Louisville is getting a look.

Auwae said he will be visiting Louisville on Sept. 17 for the Clemson game. It's the only visit he has planned so far.

"I really like Louisville a lot," Auwae said. "They impressed me a lot last year and coach (Chris) Klenakis is a great guy."

Auwae, who also mentioned Texas Tech and Arizona State as top schools on his list, said the U of L offensive line coach is a big reason he's looking at the Cardinals. Klenakis is in his second season with the Cardinals.

The top prospect from Kapolei High School in Kapolei, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu is rated as the No. 1 ranked center prospect in the West and the No. 9 center in the country.

On June 17, Auwae released his top 10 list on Twitter. ASU along with BYU, Louisville, Nevada, Oregon State, Texas Tech, UNLV, Utah, Utah State and Washington State were the schools still on his list.
