The University of Louisville football team is in day 13 of fall camp and offensive coordinator Garrick McGee said the Cardinals' still don't have a timetable to name a starting quarterback.
"We have until the fifth (of September), right?" McGee joked. "I'm not sure how long it's going to go, but that's going to be the deadline," referring to the date of the opener against Auburn.
With Tyler Ferguson transferring from U of L, the Cardinals have four players battling for the position and McGee said they are "all equal" heading into the final two weeks before the opener.
"I know that they're in control of what's going on," McGee said. "We're really fortunate we've got some really good guys there."
Reggie Bonnafon, Will Gardner, Kyle Bolin and Lamar Jackson are battling for the starting spot.
