U of L football: Practice report

The competition is still on going and tight for the five spots on the University of Louisville offensive line, according to line coach Chris Klenakis. He spent time with the media on Thursday after the Cardinals' single practice in the morning. Here's a quick report and complete videos from the practice at U of L.

It's a battle in the trenches for the University of Louisville football team.

The Cardinals have five spots open and coach Chris Klenakis met with the media on Thursday noting that "nothing is set" in stone as far as starters are concerned with the Cardinals.

Senior tackle Aaron Epps is the returning player who most likely will start, while junior Pedro Sibiea has shown a lot of promise at the center position for the Cardinals.

Klenakis said there are "10-11 guys battling" every day for the positions. He noted it was "pretty obvious" who those guys were and added they didn't have much separation.

Kelby Johnson, Lukayus McNeil, Kenny Thomas, Geron Christian, Kiola Mahoni, Khalil Hunter and Skylar Lacy are among those still battling for starting spots.
