Video: Louisville announces PJCS expansion

Papa John's Cardinal Stadium is getting bigger - again. The University of Louisville announced an expansion that will raise the capacity of the stadium to 65,000. It was build in 1998 with an original capacity of 42,000. Here's video of the announcement.

The University of Louisville football program has outgrown its stadium once again.

The Cardinals' home - Papa John's Cardinal Stadium - is getting bigger with a second expansion in the last decade announced by athletic director Tom Jurich on Friday morning.

The stadium will seat 65,000 and the north end zone will be enclosed following this expansion. The expansion will cost $55 million and Jurich said it will start "ASAP."
