University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino has been on the road for the past few months. But he's not been on vacation or recruiting. Pitino has been coaching the Puerto Rican National team.

Pitino will fly to Texas on Friday morning and meet with two of the Cardinals' top three targets - point guard De'Aaron Fox and guard Andrew Jones. Those two and wing Brandon Robinson are the three main targets left on the board for U of L in the '16 class.
Fox is considered the top point guard in the country and will make an official visit to U of L on Sept. 26. He'll also make official visits to Kentucky and Kansas and Arizona is another school the Cards' figure they need to beat in the race.
The 6-foot-4 Fox is ranked as the No. 4 player in the country by Scout.com.
Jones, who made an unofficial visit to U of L in early August, is a 6-4 guard who is also from Texas. He is expected to make an official visit to Louisville in early October and is also considering Arizona, SMU, Texas, Baylor, Texas A&M and Oklahoma State.
Ranked as the No. 30 player in the country by Scout, Jones made an official visit last weekend to Arizona.
The 6-5 Robinson is from Douglasville, Ga., and hosted U of L assistant coach Kenny Johnson on Wednesday. He made an official visit to U of L last month and also has visits scheduled with Maryland and Florida State, while North Carolina is also now in the mix.
Johnson will be with Pitino when he sees Fox and Jones on Friday. The U of L coaches are also expected to make a stop at Hutchinson, Kan., Community College where they'll check in with potential target Bashir Ahmed, a 6-7 junior college wing.
