5 Louisville commitments among about 25 prospects visiting for Clemson game

The University of Louisville football program will host around 25 prospects tonight for the Clemson game, including five players who have already committed to the Cardinals. The list is also expected to include as many as eight 2017 prospects.

Louisville will play Clemson tonight on ESPN at 7:30 p.m. in a 'Blackout' at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. The game is a sell out and expected among that crowd is around 25 prospects visiting with the football program.

The Cardinals will host at least five players who have already committed to play at U of L in the Class of 2016. Trinity wide receivcer/safety Rodjay Burns, Male wide receiver Keion Wakefield, DeSales kicker Austin Johnson and Manual defensive lineman Derek Dorsey are all expected at the game.

Also expected to attend is the newest U of L commitment - LaMarques Thomas - who is a safety from Clinton, Miss.

Dorsey will be joined by two 2017 teammates, defensive lineman Sean Cleasant and wide receiver Jaelin Carter, from Manual.

Several other Trinity prospects will also be in attendance, including 2016 linebackers Damon Lowe and Vicent Lococo, and junior twins Jovan and Jovel Smith. All of those prospects also attended last week's game against Houston.

Among the other top 2016 prospects expected will be Fern Creek standout Lamarius Winslow, who has already committed to Western Kentucky, Elizabethtown tight end Jack Wilson, who is committed to play baseball at Coastal Carolina and Middletown, Ohio defensive back Vincent Calhoun.

Nashville, Tenn., Christian School defensive back Mareio McGraw holds a U of L offer and is also expected.

Among the top 2017 prospects besides Cleasant and the Smith twins will be Butler running back Greg Bethel, Riverside, Ga., Military defensive lineman Emmanual McNeil, and Jonesborough, Tenn, David Crockett running back T.K. Hill.
