Now, the Cardinals are trying to get in the mix for another.

Pitino is expected to head to the West Coast early this week and make an in-home visit with El Cajon, Calif., Foothills Christian High School power forward T.J. Leaf, who last month de-committed from Arizona.

The 6-foot-10 Leaf is ranked as the No. 22 player in the country per Scout.com and the No. 4 power forward.

Leaf is also looking at Kentucky, Kansas, UCLA, Texas, California, San Diego State, Gonzaga and Indiana.

Leaf, who played AAU ball with Compton Magic last summer, spent the last part of July playing for the Israeli National Team in the U18 European Championships in the B division, where he averaged 16.1 points and 8.4 rebounds a game.
