Louisville women's basketball commitments in the '16 class get a bump in new rankings

The University of Louisville women's basketball program has four commitments in the Class of 2016 and three of them are ranked in the top 55 by ESPN's latest women's rankings. Check out the updated rankings:

University of Louisville women's basketball coach Jeff Walz has four verbal commitments in the Class of 2016 and three are ranked among the top 55 prospects in the country by the latest ESPN women's rankings.

Mesa Ridge, Colo., High School forward Kylee Shook, who was the first commitment in the class for the Cardinals, made the biggest jump in the rankings and checks in at No. 18. She is No. 43 in the ProspectsNation.com rankings.

New York guard Sydney Zambrotta, who is No. 72 in the ProspectsNation rankings, jumped from No. 58 to No. 29 in ESPN, while Tallahassee, Fla., athletic wing checks in at No. 55 on ESPN. Jones ranks No. 12 by ProspectsNation.

The fourth commitment Bionca Dunham of Philadelphia is unranked.

Louisville is still recruiting three other prospects. Flower Mound, Tx., forward Lauren Cox, who makes her official visit to U of L this weekend, is the No. 1 ranked player in both sets of rankings.

Duncanville, Tx., center Ciera Johnson is No. 15 in the new ESPN rankings and will visit U of L in October. The third prospect is River, Ohio, guard Jensen Caretti, who was just offered last week by the Cardinals and is No. 31 in ESPN.
